Diamondbacks Fall League Hitter Statcast Data, Part 2

With the Fall League regular season over, we take another look at the batted ball statistics of Gino Groover, Tommy Troy, and Kristian Robinson.

The Arizona Fall League is nearly over, with Salt River playing Scottsdale for the right to play Surprise in the championship. While they’ll play one more game, it will be at a park without Statcast data at Scottsdale Stadium.

One of the notes in this second breakdown is Surprise Stadium has working Statcast data in the entire fall league, which accounts for three more games on the schedule to chart. However, I’ve only made that addition with the hitters, as with pitchers the stuff profile is largely not going to change much with one appearance.

Here’s the details and breakdown of each of the three Diamondbacks prospects in the fall league.

Gino Groover

As I’ve mentioned multiple times, Groover has the best hit tool in the entire organization. He finished the fall league with a .355 average and .423 on-base percentage in 71 plate appearances. However, the lack of slug is also apparent in his numbers, as he only put up a .387 slugging percentage.
